With excellent bike parking, and a location near 85+ miles of trails, The Roe at Manayunk is among the most bike-friendly apartments in Philadelphia and beyond.
Bike Parking
Throughout the community, no matter where you live, The Roe will have bike parking scattered throughout (indoor and outdoor) on a first come first serve basis.
Private Storage
Each private townhome (coming soon) will have its own 2 wall rack bike parking spaces for convenience.

A Biker's Paradise
The Manayunk Neighborhood and the greater area is a biker’s paradise. If you are familiar with the area, there used to be a world-renowned bike race in Manayunk culminating in the trek up the famous “Manayunk Wall” with a 17% incline.
While the Manayunk Bike Race is no longer currently offered, there’s lot of great places to ride, including a trail that was rated among best urban trails in the United States (Schuylkill Trail) and the award-winning Forbidden Drive at Wissahickon Park.
Manayunk Tow Path
Directly behind Main Street (1 ½ blocks away) is the Manayunk Tow Path, with a combination of boardwalk, gravel, and hardground. About 4 minute walk.
Manayunk Bridge Trail
You can also go to the Manayunk Bridge Trail, which connects to the Cynwyd Heritage Trail. Enjoy a cup of coffee at the quaint Trail End Café in Bala Cynwyd. Bridge Trail is about a 4 minute walk from the Roe.
Wissahickon Valley Park
Head over to Wissahickon 1,800 acre park (choose from flat gravel path of Forbidden Drive) or Wissahickon Bike Trail, Yellow Trail, White Trail (permit required for upper trails). About 5 minute drive from the Roe.
Schuylkill River Trail (SRT)
Take the Tow Path (part of the Award-Winning Schuylkill River Trail (SRT) which is 75 miles long and go to Conshohocken, King of Prussia, continue onward to Valley Forge National Park (3,500 acre national park) and beyond. About 4 minute walk to access from the Roe.

Gear Up
If you need to gear up, there are plenty of cycling shops in the Manayunk and Roxborough areas including Cadence Cycling (5000 Ridge Avenue), Trek Bicycles (4159 Main), Pedego Electric Bikes (4303 Main), Barr’s Bikes and Boards (5548 Ridge Avenue).
Don’t have a bike, rent a bike at nearby bike rental public places and also some of the shops above offer bike rentals.
