So you want to be near the “Main Line” whether for your job or family that lives there, and trying to figure out where to live?
Perhaps your job is in Ardmore, Bryn Mawr, Radnor or Wayne, but don’t really want to live there?
Maybe you want that urban, city feel.
A place where you can walk to restaurants, breweries, and culture.
A place that is similar to Center City, but still close to the Main Line.
Have you considered Manayunk?
From Manayunk, you are just about 20 minutes away from every major Main Line, PA neighborhood (check it out in Google or Apple maps), and as an added bonus, you are only 20 minutes away from Center City Philadelphia.
Some of the other advantages of Manayunk include:
- Tons of Restaurants, Cafes, Breweries, Shops
- Pet-Friendly Neighborhood
- Lots of outdoor trails and parks (Wissahickon Valley Park, Cynwyd Heritage Trail, Bridge Trail, Tow Path)
- Train to Center City
- Year-Round Events
- Art Culture
- Outdoor Lifestyle
Manayunk is a rapidly growing neighborhood that offers all the benefits of city-living, but with small town charm (that is one of the neighborhood’s slogans as well).
To commute from Manayunk to the Main Line, you will likely need a car, and either will take Green Lane straight to Belmont Avenue, or hop on 76-West. Be sure to consider apartments and houses in Manayunk with parking (if you will be commuting to Main Line).
